  1. Obsolete spelling of Fridays.
    • (1683) "The Schoolmaster shall not ordinarily give plays on Mondaies, Wednesdaies or Frydaies, or any other day when there is a Holy Day in the week." Minutes of a chapter of 1683, cited in Victoria County History of Northampton, Volume 7 page 212.
