  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced with the lips initially pressed tightly together, then released as the jaw drops in the final posture:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “open B” handshape on the chest, dominant palm facing back.
    2. Hold the hand still briefly before moving it forward to the following posture while releasing the lips and dropping the jaw.
    3. Posture the dominant hand in the “open B” handshape several inches from the chest, dominant palm facing up.
