*būsniz[edit]

I'm not certain if *būsniz properly represents *beud-niz, or *beud-sniz. I've noticed that, at least in Old English, sometimes -d-(maybe also -t-) becomes -s- between a heavy syllable and following -n-, compare bāsnian (< *baidnaną), molsnian(< *muldnaną), although Old Norse molna (to become dust) maybe points to this being restricted to Old English.
