Exactly my thoughts, I read that per Mahlow’s law PIE *ōw should yield PG *au word-finally and from what I’ve seen PWG -ō, ON -a and Gothic -au are all reflexes of PG -au word-finally. Dah-wid-os (talk) 04:02, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
