The Finnic and Samic loanwords appear to imply that the senses "skin", "hair", attested from Scandinavian, were present already quite early on. I suppose they could be dated to the Proto-Scandinavian period. --Tropylium (talk) 22:14, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
