Tentative vowel warning[edit]

It seems like this root is more likely *bʰreg-. In the case of Latin, the change of PIE *e > a is almost regular in such a position, and we can see the original *e in forms such as the perfect, frēgī. Moreover, none of the other branches seem to offer reasons to believe that there was an original **a. 74.185.212.232 01:22, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
