I think this reconstruction needs to be reconsidered. For example, I don't understand how Hittite išḫunawar could descend from snéh₁wr̥. The Germanic descendant *senawō is also a stretch, as is Armenian to an extent. Dghmonwiskos (talk) 13:55, 28 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Dghmonwiskos: You definitely have a point with Hittite. Kloekhorst says the -r could be a scribal error for -š and actually reflects a root išḫunaw- meaning "upper arm" (not "sinew" or "nerve"). He gives the etymology for it as Proto-Indo-European *sh₂u-now-.
For the Germanic Kroonen reconstructs Proto-Germanic *senuwō- (I can't judge if that's better or not) and says it has to come from a full-grade Proto-Indo-European *sénh₁-weh₂-, an innovation. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 22:58, 1 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
