On the adjectival sense: seeing how the word is already assumed to have come from something meaning 'intense', another possible etymology could be borrowing from Finnic Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "fiu-fin-pro" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E.. Though I note this also lacks a secure deeper-than-branch etymology. --Tropylium (talk) 12:10, 25 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
