Is it perhaps from this word Swedish and Danish vrede comes from and not from *wraiþaz as it says there? I came to that conclusion since only the corresponding adjectives ("vrede" for both languages) are listed as descendants on both *wraiþaz and on Old Norse vreiðr.Jonteemil (talk) 14:42, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

No.wikt. says that its term "vrede" descend from Old Norse reiði but on the English page "reiði" it says that that's Old west Norse and neither Swedish nor Danish are West Norse.Jonteemil (talk) 14:45, 12 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
