     A hiki mai ka manawa ma hope o kā Hana hāpai ʻana, hānau maila ia, he keiki kāne, a kapa akula ia i kona inoa ʻo Samuʻela; no ka mea, ua noi aku au iā ia iā Iēhova.

     Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
