  1. Southern Africa (a geographic region comprising the southern part of Africa; always including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini, and sometimes also Angola, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe)

Note that suider (an inflected form of suid) is used in this term to distinguish the region from the country, Suid-Afrika (South Africa), which makes up a part of the region.
