rfquotek for Hesychius of Alexandria

[edit]

Is it really relevant to ask requests for quotation here? The lexicon of Hesychius is nothing more than a list of words with glosses. --Fsojic (talk) 12:04, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Fsojic: I think so, given that his glosses are sometimes all the evidence we have for certain words. In any case, I've managed to find and cite Hesychius's entry, which I've added to Citations:κάρμα. AFAICT, the LSJ's definitions don't match Hesychius's gloss, but my Greek is far too poor for me to be able to tell for sure. Should I {{rfv}} the senses currently in the entry? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 15:28, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
