The speaker says [vovk], not [wɔu̯k]. Both labials are labiodental and even appear rather strongly fricated. Of course, the pronunciation [wɔu̯k] may well exist, but the automatic IPA creates a [phonetic] transcription that clearly is not representative for the language as a whole. A good step would be to make it /phonemic/. And if the phoneme /w/ ranges between [v] and [w], then /ʋ/ may be a better sign for it. 2.203.201.164 20:26, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
