Is the word жнивьё synonymous with жнитво in all of its senses or in some of them? The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 14:32, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ушаков says жнивьё has the following meanings:
- 1. Поле, где сжата рожь или другие зерновые хлеба. По жнивью пасется стадо.
- 2. Солома, оставшаяся после жатвы на корню.
- 3. Жатва, время жатвы.
- It also says жнитво is synonymous with meanings #2 and #3, but not #1. I cannot confirm or deny this: Vahag and agriculture is like Bulgarians and space :) --Vahagn Petrosyan 17:55, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Dialectical
