Past Participle

[edit]

Does anybody know what the past participle of this verb should be? The verb פֿאַרגינען, derived from גינען, has the past participle פֿאַרגונען‎; therefore, the past participle of גינען should be געגונט‎ or געגונען‎. I tried to check that both with native speakers and on the web, but was unable to find any information about it Cymelo (talk) 10:14, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Cymelo: The fact that the phrase װער מיר גוטס גינט! (ver mir guts gint!) is the only thing CYED has to say about this verb leads me to suspect it doesn't exist outside of this one fixed expression. —Mahāgaja · talk 10:53, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
