לשם
[edit]לשם (which redirects here) should be added to this entry. 24.29.228.33 19:06, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Why? it's just ל־ + שם. I've fixed that entry, though. Better in your opinon?—msh210℠ 19:30, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
I just found it at Wiktionary:Requested entries:Hebrew and it looked like it needed attention. 24.29.228.33 19:37, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Yeah, it's a common word, meaning thither which is why it was added to that list, but, according to Wiktionary convention (which I don't subscribe to in toto, but which I try to abide by nonetheless) we don't include it as an entry because it's a combination of a clitic and a word. See Wiktionary:About Hebrew#Prefixes. But thanks for paying attention.—msh210℠ 19:42, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
I was just trying to clear up that page by removing bluelinks that represent entries that have already been created, and don't need any more attention, work, or definitions. 24.29.228.33 19:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]How come this is under the triliteral root שׁ־ו־ם when השם, the same word with an article, is under the biliteral ש־ם?
