ازهر

[edit]

Misspelling of ازهار, which is a plural form anyway (see Arabic translation of flower for more details). Correct spelling for the Azhar university in Cairo, Egypt, but that obviously doesn't belong on Wiktionary. Paul Willocx 21:17, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

It gets 41,000 google hits and is shown in http://qamoos.sakhr.com/idrisidic_1.asp?Sub=%c3%d2%e5%d1. I have always known it as "ázhur", one of the plurals of زهر, but Qamoos shows it as a different form and pronounced "ázhar". —Stephen 18:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
