Also a Middle Eastern dish?[edit]

Isn't this also the name of a Middle Eastern dish? 173.88.246.138 04:15, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like various dishes to me, a generic term for “shreds” on a plate, that is often meats. The encyclopedic entries are slanted to the samples of prominent regions: In the tropics, Yemen, it is even done with a banana base: فتة موز. Certainly much more heterogeneous a concept than فَتُّوش (fattūš). @Fenakhay, KoveytBud, M. I. Wright Fay Freak (talk) 12:14, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know a lot about the dish since I don't think it's part of the indigenous cuisine here in Kuwait, I only had it a few times at Lebanese restaurants, so what user:Fay Freak said seems true based on a few web searches. --KoveytBud (talk) 13:49, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
