Direct object marker

Hi @Antonklroberts May I ask where you learned that this particle is a marker for definite objects? Is this based on classical Syriac? Do you have any examples? To my knowledge this particle is rare in classical Syriac and does not share a distinct function from ܠ-. Thank you for your answer Shuraya (talk) 07:23, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
