if "थियो • (thiyo) [is the] third-person masculine singular past of हुनु (hunu)", then it should appear somewhere on the linked page for हुनु (hunu), specifically, here: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E0%A4%B9%E0%A5%81%E0%A4%A8%E0%A5%81#Nepali Perhaps it is there, but I can't find it. 73.189.181.198 20:16, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

One solution to consider is the treatment by Acharya, Jayaraj, "A Descriptive Grammar of Nepali and an Analyzed Corpus", (Georgetown University Press, 1991), on pp. 154-156, which distinguishes among the 'be (existential)', 'be (identificational)', and 'become' meanings of हुनु (hunu), each of which has a distinct conjugation. According to this approach, the conjugation given for हुनु (hunu) in this Wiktionary is then the conjugation of the 'become' meaning, whereas the conjugations for the other two meanings are missing. It is in those missing conjugations where थियो (thiyo) is indeed the third-person masculine singular past of हुनु (hunu). 73.189.181.198 20:40, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
