- Thanks, dude. I also wasn't happy with transcribing Persian with â, î, û, ê & ô. And I listed them as related terms as you said doublets is not the proper classification of them, but nor is your way of listing out them as separate derivations from that root accurate (which also creates links of Bengali pages to an Arabic language category). - Using the 'ar-root' template was definitely not the right way to do it.
- Anyway, I had noticed earlier that the term 'doublet' is often used very broadly on Bengali entries, and I was planning to review those, because sometimes there are doublets in a list of mostly non-doublets. So what I've done a few times is change the non-doublets to: 'Related to ...' Probably a list of 'related terms' is better. Exarchus (talk) 17:22, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
