@Illustrious Lock, Cyrohdn3, Sriveenkat, Ganesudu, Brusquedandelion please dont add ambiguous spellings in languages with no official orthography, the taml script voicing and vowel centralizing nukta isnt added yet, neither is there a fixed official way of writing long/short e o in devanagari or a way to represent word final short a or mlym script tulu on how to write nasal+consonant, medial kuttiyalukaram and pre consonantal repha; kodava knda script isnt phonetic, short and long schwas are both spelt the same, similarly gïṇi takkï mūndï are spelt ಗಿಣಿ ತಕ್ಕ್ ಮೂಂದು (giṇi takkŭ mūndu). if such entries are mass created, once they have an official orthography it will be a hassle to correct all those pages. Yes, But According to https://badaga.co/learn-badaga/, I think ஒந்து is correct Tamil script spelling in this case. Sriveenkat (talk) 08:57, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
if it isnt added to unicode how can it be typed on a website? she isnt a native and badaga has voicing distinction, writing badaga without distinguishing voicing wont work. nukta is used in nearby languages then its likely badaga also uses it AleksiB 1945 (talk) 09:54, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
The owner of that website isn't that woman. The person who send that letter is a non-Badaga woman. Read it properly... Illustrious Lock (talk) 10:14, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Then why did you create the Badaga IPA template with Kannada orthography if the orthography for Badaga isn't confirmed yet? I am only moving existing Badaga pages with Kannada orthography to Tamil orthography as most Badagas use Tamil script. Not creating any new pages. Illustrious Lock (talk) 10:07, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
It is a temporary module for current pages and the knda script is much less ambiguous than the taml script, the only ambiguity there is retroflex vowels which currently no page has, but generally a zh is subscripted below the vowel, see to the end of this badaga source.

which in current unicode form cant support Badaga words AleksiB 1945 (talk) 10:35, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Its only a few words. No more creating new pages until orthography is determined. Illustrious Lock (talk) 12:15, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@AleksiB 1945 I see. I added the script for the Kumarbhag Paharia Malto word to Reconstruction:Proto-Dravidian/wec- because it appears at ಬಿಸಿಲು under etymology. Should it be removed from there too? Brusquedandelion (talk) 18:57, 4 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

About this, Badaga uses knda and mlym w:Badaga_language#Writing_system, the first badaga book was written in knda script. Also see this badaga source from 1988 AleksiB 1945 (talk) 10:44, 29 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
