Misspelled

[edit]

As the word is an -r stem, the suffix should end in -ᚱ. 188.150.161.188 18:39, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is the most commonly attested form, and there's little doubt it was pronounced this way as well, ie with -ʀ sound rather than -r. Probably due to influence of ja-stem nouns in -iʀ; -Vr would have been an extremely rare sound ᛙᛆᚱᛐᛁᚿᛌᛆᛌProto-NorsingAsk me anything 18:59, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it is a rare sound, but that's why it's called the r-stem and only has the kinship nouns with an -r ending, no? 188.150.161.188 12:39, 14 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
However, if it is attested then of course it's a valid entry, and it does bring to wander if there were any other "misspellings" (variational development) of broder, syster, et.c. 188.150.161.188 14:55, 14 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
