Variable declension?

[edit]

Slater’s Lexicon to Pindar suggests that the genitive form of Ἀριστοφάνης can be Ἀριστοφάνεος (Aristopháneos), Ἀριστοφάνους (Aristophánous), or Ἀριστοφάνευς (Aristopháneus). Is this borne out in any other source? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 21:45, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
