Etymology

[edit]

My sources for etymology were this and this. Don’t think either of those is serious enough to warrant an inclusion as reference. --Vahagn Petrosyan 10:42, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, the former’s a wiki so, seeing as its liable to change its content, we can’t rely on that one; the latter is not the most venerable of sources, but it doesn’t seem to contain any glaring errors. I’ll add Behind the Name as a reference for the etymology and remove the {{unreferenced}} tag.  (u):Raifʻhār (t):Doremítzwr﴿ 20:14, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Done.  (u):Raifʻhār (t):Doremítzwr﴿ 20:19, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Good. There’s also this. --Vahagn Petrosyan 20:39, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Also added. FWIW, derivation from κλειτός (kleitós, glorious) seems more likely to me.  (u):Raifʻhār (t):Doremítzwr﴿ 03:24, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
