@Mlgc1998 What made you think that that's the definition? Mar vin kaiser (talk) 00:57, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser I just followed the entry for 着无咧 at p.677 of 闽南方言大词典 which it said that 也无咧 is a synonym, with 着无咧, 也无咧, and 都无咧 all supposedly synonyms meaning "也不是,总沒有,用于反问". And that 着无咧 and 都无咧 are antonyms with 着咧 and 都咧. Mlgc1998 (talk) 12:04, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Mlgc1998: "也不是,总沒有,用于反问" is not the same as "no longer" or "not anymore". The meaning of 也無咧, as far as I understand it, is something like "not even". Not "no longer". "汝毋免扶我,我也無咧瘸跤啦", means "Don't help me up, it's not like I'm a lame person". --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:28, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Mlgc1998: If you say 也無咧, it doesn't mean that the person was formerly lame. So that's why I don't get where you got the definition "no longer". --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:29, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser how about 着无咧, 都无咧, 着咧, 都咧? Mlgc1998 (talk) 10:11, 30 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Mlgc1998: Basically, none of those words, as far as I know, have a meaning of "no longer", of something that was formerly existing and not existing anymore. 都無咧 means the same as 也無咧. The meaning of this set of words are connected to "even". For example, "都咧" would be something like "na nga e", like "人都咧𤺪咯" would be "pagod na nga ang mga tao e". "房間都咧狹細" would be "makitid at maliit na nga ang kwarto e". --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 02:02, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
