大員 vs 大圓

@恨国党非蠢即坏 Why did you choose 大圓 over 大員 as the main form? Though both forms were essentially hapax legomena before 臺灣 became the dominant form, it appears that 大員 is more common in modern historical works, and 中国历史地名大辞典, 中国历史大辞典•上卷, 中国古今地名大词典 and 中国少数民族史大辞典 all have 大员 as the main entry.
