Old Chinese pronunciation

Hi @荒巻モロゾフ I am curious how you determined the old Chinese pronunciation of this word (or perhaps in general), as I am not the most familiar with what sources I should use to find this information. I ask because I was surprised to see that the old Chinese you used for 射 here is not /*laːɡs/ and do not correspond to the middle Chinese (/jiaH/) or modern Mandarin (yè) pronunciations used in this word, and also that you chose different Baxter–Sagart and Zhengzhang reconstructions.
