意嚮形

[edit]

@0DF Are you sure about this? Where is this information from? —Fish bowl (talk) 20:36, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Fish bowl: ()(こう) (ikō) lists 意嚮 as a dated alternative spelling. , so I erred on the side of including it, but marked it both dated and rare. If there's some a priori reason it's wrong, however, please feel free to remove it. I'm going out now, but I'll have a look at your RFDs when I get back. 0DF (talk) 20:58, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I see; thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. However, the Google Books passage seems to be about governance in Japanese Manchuria (the book is titled 満洲事変 "the Mukden Incident"), so it's probably not relevant, unfortunately. A text search in the National Diet Library produces 各政黨の意嚮形勢は急轉直下して, but it's actually 各政黨の意嚮:形勢は急轉直下して, and is similarly political. "Verbatim" Google search also doesn't produce anything except for one spammy Chinese e-book "website" that may have been shoved into a Simplified-Traditional conversion program. —Fish bowl (talk) 21:18, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Fish bowl: I think that's plenty to justify taking it out of the entry, so I'll do just that. And yes, I'd seen the Chinese text on Google Web and disregarded it as irrelevant. 0DF (talk) 22:18, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
