ぐ𛅑んくゎん

The ancient reading of this word is ぐ𛅑んくゎん. However there doesn't seem to be a way to indicate this in Template:ja-noun or Module:ja-headword. What needs to be done to indicate this? Directly editing the hhira parameter would be wrong since the historical kana orthography spelling is げんくわん. LittleWhole (talk) 19:27, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

@LittleWhole -- We only include ancient readings on the pages for individual kanji. That is why neither Template:ja-noun nor Module:ja-headword support ancient readings. This is by design.

Not many fonts support the glyph 𛅑. My current setup doesn't, for instance, so I have no clear idea what ancient reading you even intend. Where possible, we avoid use of rare and not-widely-supported glyphs. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │^{Tala við mig} 16:18, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
