According to A Guide to Remembering Japanese Characters by Kenneth G Henshall, the character 聴 only contains 17 strokes. I have edited this page to reflect that. — This comment was unsigned.

In addition to different stroke order, Chinese also uses different stroke counts from Japanese for some characters. Cynewulf 16:46, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
