Stroke number[edit]

@Surjection: was browsing recent changes and noticed that there's a bit of a revert war on this page, spanning a few months. HanziDB and Unihan (which our entry links) say the stroke number is 8. Is there a reason to dispute this? 98.170.164.88 09:12, 6 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

This same IP editor does things like Special:Diff/68778146, Special:Diff/68778202 and Special:Diff/69016293. Any time they do it (always eventually), a mass revert is the correct option, since the edits are probably all vandalism anyway and intended to waste our time. If the stroke count is wrong, someone who isn't a vandal will probably come along and correct it anyway. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 09:19, 6 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Understood. Users who sprinkle in good edits between vandalism are all too common. I think some of their edits about stroke count might be right, but I know next to nothing about Chinese characters so I don't feel confident in reinstating them. 98.170.164.88 20:29, 6 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
