Not guessing the pronunciation

@Wpi As a long-time editor in Wiktionary, I used to do that years ago, but I don't do that anymore. I don't guess pronunciations anymore. Just to clarify. The pronunciation "zyun2 tau4" is from Pleco. Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:32, 29 December 2023 (UTC)

@Mar vin kaiser: Thanks for the clarification. I still occasionally come across old entries you created with wrong pronunciation, so perhaps that's where the impression of guessing pronunciation came from. I've checked some older dictionaries and they imply the pronunciation zyun2 tau4, although zyun3 tau4 is what I've always been hearing in daily life. wpi (talk) 08:41, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
