Alternative -ink- vs. -inkat[edit]

At least one source indicates -ink- as a suffix: Nauka o tvoření slov: tematické okruhy a cvičení, Uher and Kneselová, 1999.

While it looks like an interfix, it could be argued to be a suffix by positing that the final -at is a mere inflectional ending of an infinitive.

One interesting property of -ink- is that it would unite nominal, adjectival and verbal diminution: mámamam- + -ink- + -a, malýmal- + -ink- + , and spátsp- + -ink- + -at.
