Shouldn't this article be named The Bahamas? AFAIK this is the correct name of this country in English. Youandme 11:31 Feb 24, 2003 (UTC)
- Same goes for (the) Netherlands, the Philippines, etc... I chose the name of the headword because people are more likely to search for that word (and it's also how it's done in traditional dictionaries). D.D. 14:10 Feb 24, 2003 (UTC)
