Translating Brown[edit]

Saying that Rusko is a Finnish translation of Brown is rather imaginative. Only 69 persons named Rusko are alive in Finland today, and to me it sounds more like a suitable name for a horse. Why should every surname be translated into every language? Finnish surnames based on colors are very rare.--Makaokalani 15:46, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
