  • dead horse - sauce - is a common rhyming slang in Australia for 'tomato sauce'. Is it perhaps Cockney in origin? If not do we need some place to put Australian rhyming slang, though it is not often identified as a category.
Australian rhyming slang perhaps? Rich Farmbrough 15:19, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Page A discussion: The list is on B so remove it from A...Page B discussion: the list is on A so remove it from B[edit]

There is currently a situation where editors remove lists of Cockney RS from this page, reasoning that there is a list on Rhyming slang, and remove huge lists from that page, citing a list on this page that has since been removed.

There is currently only the list on the Rhyming slang page, the huge list of contributions deleted from that page, on its Discussion page, and a link on this page which could go dead on any given day. No comprehensive list of CRS exists on wikipedia.

I propose that the list be shortened on Rhyming slang, linked prominently to here, and remain on this page, in full, unsolicited additions being moved here as needed. 24.5.32.29 03:22, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody has removed anything from rhyming slang or from here. There are more rhyming slangs than just Cockney. Let’s leave things as they are. —Stephen 18:21, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
