Emory cloth[edit]

to my surprise, this is not mentioned either in Wikipedia nor here, yet it's the most common use. Emory cloth is a polishing cloth, sort of a black fine-grained sandpaper, used for polishing everything from fine woodwork to gemstones; as far as I know "emory" is a kind of stone or sand made from a particular stone; apparently it's also called "emery cloth" but I know it from Emory Creek in British Columbia, and have usually seen it spelled "emory" - - Emery/emory is Maybe there's an "emery" entry though....Skookum1 14:38, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

We have emery cloth. I don’t think it’s supposed to be capitalized. See also emery. —Stephen 14:42, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
