Oxford English Dictionary[edit]

According to Tony Ring (Wodehouse Society), Jeeves is also "a generic term in the Oxford English Dictionary"[1]. Sadly, the date of inclusion isn't mentionned. Someone with access to OED.com could add a great reference to the article.

BUTLER???[edit]

In the books, Jeeves insists he is NOT a butler, he is a "Gentleman's Gentleman". I am not sure if that should affect this entry or not. --Stooshie 10:13, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
