When did this word become archaic in English? -- Deborahjay 07:14, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd call this word dated but not archaic.

Derogatory

[edit]

Now it has derogatory overtones for racial reasons and because of gender sensitivity https://books.google.es/books?id=w1WuDwAAQBAJ&lpg=PA448&dq=%22derogatory%20overtones%20for%20racial%20reasons%20and%20because%22&hl=es&pg=PA448#v=onepage&q=%22derogatory%20overtones%20for%20racial%20reasons%20and%20because%22&f=false --Backinstadiums (talk) 13:24, 14 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is definitely not humrous but derogatury and I'd ditch the picture asap.
