Etymology?[edit]

How about some etymology on this name?
Isn't it basically the same as Akeem, Waheem and other Arabic names such as those?
And I do believe it (alternate version "Joaquin" taken into consideration as well) is (or perhaps was) a rather common Spanish name, from around the Maurian invasion.
The Spanish pronunciation of "Joaquim" /χwa'ki:m/ is very similar to Waheem /wa'xi:m/ or Akeem /a'ki:m/.
I don't know if there's a name such as "Wakeem," which would definitely prove this theory.
