Etymology
[edit]The OED gives the earliest use of the word (the 1908 Weekly Advocate of Victoria, TX) as being American in nature. Apparently early occurrences found in Google Books are also from American sources. Why is this considered an Australian term? 49.98.131.170 23:43, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
