[edit]@Shumkichi, RE: no such word as niżny in pl. simply leave it without a hyperlink — I think there is such a word as "niżny" in Polish, it's both present in SGJP and mentioned in Doroszewski's dictionary under niżni, and it's present in Polish geographical names as well, see Krościenko Niżne and Niżne Podhale. Regarding the meaning of oblast you've added, is that correct? Niżny Nowogród is the city, the oblast is obwód niżnonowogrodzki. Hythonia (talk) 15:13, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- I've brought the link back, niżny is also featured in Niedźwiedzki's dictionary and in SPJS, so I'm 100% sure it is a word. I've also removed the oblast meaning for now. Hythonia (talk) 15:40, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
