There may, in fact, be multiple senses of this term. It's often used to connote lawless gunfighting but also seems to have a generic use where "showdown at the OK Corral" or some permutation thereof is used for any metaphorical confrontation. BDavis (talk) 17:12, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
