I think it would be worth mentionning somewhere that the variant Obamania is actually as good, if not better, on a phonetic / morphological point of view, as it follows the rule on non-reduplication of consonnants present in many Latin words

• stipendium for stipi-pendium
• control for contre-role
• volumetry for volume-metry
