Following the newest Dutch spelling rules, a holy book (as a text) is written with a capital letter (hence Koran), whereas a copy of that holy book is written with a small letter (hence koran).
The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

- Reverse delete (as it were). The proper noun can have a plural, so the common noun sense should be deleted. Mglovesfun (talk) 12:21, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Merge. The original text or a copy. Assuming it is ever meant as the first. I'm not disputing it, but I couldn't find any mention at 'pedia. DAVilla 12:45, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
