User:Ilawa-Kataka was this word firs attested Old Prussian in that year or in Old Polish? Vininn126 (talk) 15:47, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

User:Vininn126 Old Prussian presumably, since the attestation originally comes from Die altpreussischen Ortsnamen. What should I do in this case? İʟᴀᴡᴀ–Kᴀᴛᴀᴋᴀ (talk) (edits) 15:52, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ilawa-Kataka then we might want to make the Old Prussian entry and move the first attestation date there.Vininn126 (talk) 15:54, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@User:Vininn126 And when I do, should it be in the Reconstruction namespace with *Stabegude or standard namespace with Stabegode? And what should I put in the Polish entry? İʟᴀᴡᴀ–Kᴀᴛᴀᴋᴀ (talk) (edits) 15:58, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
How can it be first attested if it's a reconstruction? Vininn126 (talk) 16:07, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good point, I guess it's an oddity with how NMP worded it. And one more thing, I was going to use {{pl-pr}} for the pronunciation, but I couldn't figure out how to add a reference to the dialectal pronunciation rather than the standard. Do you know how? @Ilawa-Kataka So let's remove that etydate. {{pl-pr}} is seeing some changes, {{{refN}}} is a parameter, but it might change. Vininn126 (talk) 16:26, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@User:Vininn126 Just added the Warmian and Old Prussian entries, and corrected the Polish. I will pay attention to any edits you make, if there are any problems with these. İʟᴀᴡᴀ–Kᴀᴛᴀᴋᴀ (talk) (edits) 16:55, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ilawa-Kataka As far as the Warmia form, I think I'd do something like that. Vininn126 (talk) 17:00, 30 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
