What is the point of keeping words with old spelling? LinguisticMystic (talk) 11:42, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- It helps for example when people are reading old texts, for them to look up the word with its spelling and find the modern equivalent, especially when the words have very different spellings, and also for historians/researchers, etc. Eric Schiefelbein (talk) 03:56, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
