Invention of new word

[edit]

Why didn't Navajo speakers invent a new word for this, as had formerly been done when Navajo people encountered new items or concepts from other cultures? 71.66.97.228 20:28, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

They just didn’t. The number of speakers who understand Wikipedia and who also use the Navajo Wikiibíídiiya is too small, and those few are all bilingual. —Stephen (Talk) 23:06, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
