Thats rubbish. The Z comes from the Neighbourhood of the z to the Shift key on american keyboards. so when you wanna type OMFG! you strike the z and the text appearing on the screnn is zOMFG or ZOMFG. On other language keyboards (e.g. German Layout) the z isn't located beneath the Shift key, but as Zomfg became a standard term (like the 111 after several !), it got used by other languaged persons too.
